Peel THE Potato Class Tier List (All 6 Classes, Ranked)
All six Peel THE Potato classes ranked by roll rate and stated effect: Hero of the Potatoes is the only S tier, Potato Expert the best solo money class, Digger the best common role — plus the best class per play style.
Peel THE Potato has a verifiable class system: six documented classes, all obtained from the same roll pool, whose roll chances add up to exactly 100%. If you want the short version: Hero of the Potatoes (0.1%) is the only S tier class — lock it the moment it lands in a slot. Until it shows up, Potato Expert (2.4%) is the best solo money class and Digger (15%) is the best common role. There is no single best class for every player: Comrade is near-worthless solo, and Mechanic pays nothing until you own machines.
The six classes and how you get them
Every class in the game comes out of the class-roll pool. You don't buy or unlock classes anywhere else — you roll them onto class slots and decide, slot by slot, whether to keep, reroll, or lock the result. The documented pool looks like this:
| Class | Roll chance | Stated effect |
|---|---|---|
| Hero of the Potatoes | 0.1% | Every bonus the other classes have, plus 20% faster pickup |
| Potato Expert | 2.4% | Potatoes sell for more |
| Mechanic | 12.5% | Machines work faster |
| Digger | 15% | Adds one potato per pick |
| Comrade | 20% | More money for everyone when more players are in the party |
| Peasant | About half of all rolls (~50%) | No bonuses, just potatoes |
The chances total exactly 100%, so this pool covers the whole documented roster rather than a sample of it. New to the game? Start with the beginner guide, then come back to spend your rolls wisely.
How class rolls and slots work
Class selection follows a simple roll-and-slot loop:
- Roll slot one first. Slot two starts locked, so your first roll only matters on slot one.
- Reroll junk results. Peasant and a Comrade rolled while playing solo are the standard reroll targets.
- Hold decent commons. Keep Digger or Mechanic in a slot while you chase Potato Expert.
- Lock Hero of the Potatoes on sight. At 0.1% it's the rarest roll in the pool — once it lands in a slot, stop rolling that slot.
If you'd rather push the odds, the Roblox store for the game sells paid helpers that plug directly into this loop: Class reroll (9 Robux), Class reroll x5 (39 Robux), the +1 Class Slot game pass (119 Robux), plus Fast Rolls (179 Robux) and 2x Luck (199 Robux). Those listings come from the Roblox store sample taken 10/4/2026, and prices can change between samples — treat them as confirmation the reroll and slot systems exist, not as fixed prices.
How this tier list is ranked
Three criteria, in this order:
- What the class actually does — the direction and usefulness of its stated bonus.
- Preconditions — whether the bonus needs a full party (Comrade) or machine ownership (Mechanic) to matter.
- Roll rate — how often you can realistically hold the class.
One honest caveat: the exact sell-price multiplier behind Potato Expert and the exact machine speed-up behind Mechanic aren't published, so close placements rest on the stated effects and are directional rather than measured.
Peel THE Potato class tier list
| Tier | Class | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|---|
| S | Hero of the Potatoes | The only S tier. Its card claims every bonus the other classes have, plus 20% faster pickup — nothing else on the board stacks the same way. At 0.1%, lock it the moment it appears. |
| A | Potato Expert | The realistic chase. Potatoes sell for more, making it the best solo money class until the hero shows up. At 2.4% it's rare but attainable. |
| B | Digger | The best common role. One extra potato per pick is a straight farm bonus with no party requirement, and at 15% you'll hold it often. |
| B | Mechanic | Machines work faster — but it only pays off once you own machines, and not before. Strong for machine owners; dead weight early on. |
| C | Comrade | The bonus is more money for everyone as more players join the party. In a filled group that's real value; solo, it's a Peasant with a green name. |
| D | Peasant | About half of all rolls and it does nothing — no bonuses, just potatoes. The default reroll target. |
Best class by player goal
- Steady solo income: Potato Expert — the sell-more bonus works with no help from anyone.
- Raw farming yield: Digger — one extra potato on every single pick, from the first minute.
- You own machines: Mechanic — the speed bonus finally pays once your machines are running.
- You always play in a filled party: Comrade — its money bonus scales with party size.
- Any slot, any goal: Hero of the Potatoes — if the 0.1% roll lands, lock it and stop rolling that slot. It supersedes every other pick.
- Never keep: Peasant, or a Comrade you rolled while playing solo — reroll both.
After balance changes, recheck this order
This ranking reflects the documented six-class roster as of the sources behind it, with the paid roll helpers last checked in the 10/4/2026 store sample. Because the underlying bonuses are directional rather than exact multipliers, a single balance patch could reshuffle the B and C rows — so after any balance or content update, recheck the roster and every placement before trusting the order. The updates page tracks what has changed.
